The Dirt on DirtLogic - April E-newsletter

THE DIRT ON DIRTLOGIC - APRIL E-NEWSLETTER

Spring has sprung and we've been busy as bees developing new ways to save you green (money that is)! Read on for some important announcements about our new GPS and take-off offerings that you definitely want to know about, a recap of our trip to CONEXPO, golf tourney info and more!

INTRODUCING A BRAND NEW GPS SERVICE WITH A PRICE THAT WORKS FOR YOU!

For several years we've been providing the gold standard in GPS models which are so accurate they can be used during the fine grading process. While we've received rave reviews on the amount of valuable information offered in our GPS model reports, in working closely with our clients we've discovered that some prefer to use their GPS system during the mass grading process only.

Consequently, in order to give you the highest level of service and provide you with only the GPS model features that some of our clients currently use, we've developed two modeling options:

  • Mass Grade GPS Model - starting at $500

Our Mass Grade GPS Model includes the surface model with a tolerance of .5 of a foot, standardized background linework file, and a report with 3D images of the site. We include the same high quality service and extensive checks and balances with our Mass Grade Model service but you only pay for the exact information you need and use. Turnaround time is 1-3 days.

  • Fine Grade GPS Model

Our Fine Grade GPS Model includes all of the Mass Grade Model information PLUS a surface model with tolerance of .10 of a foot, cut fill volumes, and cut fill grid map. Includes every curb point, all high/low points and centerline alignments built using centerline profiles in addition to contours. Our Fine Grade Model includes the ultra high accuracy GPS model services we've been providing for the last several years. Turnaround time is 5-10 days.

In addition, if you initially purchase a Mass Grade Model for your project and later find you want to use the information for final grading, DirtLogic will upgrade you to the Fine Grade GPS Model and prorate the cost for maximum savings to you.

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS DIRTLOGIC?

ConExpo 2008

It's not hard to convince someone to leave the cold and rain of Portland behind for the sun and fun of Las Vegas, which is exactly what Matt and Aimee Gebarowski did in order to attend to "Business" at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2008.

The following is a quick summary with a link to the official ConExpo website complete with video of the main attractions.

"ConExpo-Con/Agg 2008 was bigger and better than ever, with more than 144,600 attendees flooding the Las Vegas Convention Center during the show's five-day run from March 11 to 15. According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), ConExpo '08 was 21% bigger than '05. The exhibits covered more than 2.28 million net square feet--and good walking shoes were a necessity for anyone who wanted to experience it all." HOPE VILLAGE UGANDA

In last month's e-newsletter we included an announcement of Aimee Gebarowski's new partnership with Hope Village Uganda, an organization making a significant effort to change the lives of some of orphaned children of Uganda, Africa and their community.

A big thanks to everyone who showed your care and concern by visiting the mission's website ( www.hopevillageuganda.org ) and giving a gift. There's nothing more wonderful than playing a part in rekindling the hopes of a bright future for these special children. You can look forward to progress reports and photos in upcoming newsletters. Together we're making a difference halfway across the world!
